MAGNA glass-ceramic is a completely hygienic and stain-resistant material, so no waterproofing is necessary. A pH-neutral cleaning agent or one specifically designed for glass-ceramic, such as our Cleaning Kit, is suitable for cleaning the glass-ceramic cooktop. As with all surfaces, deep scratches should be avoided, as these could cause long-term damage to the surface.
